About ICOSIN 2026
ICOSIN 2026 welcomes everyone — researchers, academics, and practitioners alike — to share work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, computing, and culture — with special attention to the unique linguistic and cultural landscape of Borneo. The conference features public lectures, keynote talks, and collaborative sessions between UNTAN and UNIMAS.
We invite submissions presenting completed research, work-in-progress, or applied projects related (but not limited) to the tracks below.

Presentation Formats

Oral presentation slots are limited (maximum 10 papers, 5 per room). Allocation is based on review score ranking — the 10 highest-scoring accepted papers present orally; all other accepted papers are presented as posters. Both formats are published equally in the ICOSIN Proceedings.
Submissions must be written in English. Both individual and team submissions are welcome.

Note: to meet the conference timeline, ICOSIN 2026 uses a single-round peer review (Mitra Bestari) conducted by the Technical Program Committee, including external reviewers, evaluating originality, clarity, and topical fit.
Registration Fee

The registration fee covers the conference kit, certificate, and publication in the ICOSIN Proceedings (e-ISSN, DOI). Payment instructions will be sent together with the notification of acceptance (LoA).
The registration fee includes lunch for one (1) person. Additional guests/companions requiring lunch are subject to an extra fee (to be announced).
Submission Guidelines
- Prepare your full paper (4–6 pages, IEEE two-column format) using the provided paper template.
- Clearly indicate your preferred track: Oral or Poster (final assignment follows the review ranking above).
- Include author name(s), institutional affiliation, and contact email.
- All accepted papers (oral and poster) will be published in the ICOSIN Proceedings with e-ISSN and DOI (Crossref), indexed by Google Scholar.
- Accepted authors will present at ICOSIN 2026 and receive an official certificate.
- Selected best papers will be invited for extended submission to a partner journal (to be confirmed).
